SILENT FORCE Guitarist Becomes First-Time Father

SILENT FORCE guitarist Alex Beyrodt and his wife have announced the birth of their first child. Melody Mimi Beyrodt was born on Sunday, January 15 at 6:49 p.m. She weighed in at 3.5 kg and is 52 cm tall.

SILENT FORCE, which also features in its ranks ex-ROYAL HUNT singer D.C. Cooper, are currently recording their fourth album for a spring release via AFM Records. The guitars, bass and keyboards for the new CD were laid down at Guitars from Hell studio in Krefeld, Germany, while the vocal recordings are being done at producer Dennis Ward's new studio in Bruchsal, Germany. "The song material is in the same direction like the last album, 'Worlds Apart'," according to a posting on the group's web site.

"Worlds Apart" was released in the U.S. in October 2004 via Noise Records.
